a little peek
behind the scenes

fall launch - 2025
Ever wonder what goes into a Co. Kind launch? A lot. This one was especially nuts. It took weeks of planning, designing, prepping, and praying the weather would cooperate. Good or bad, once I get an idea in my head, it’s game on.
We pulled off two sunset shoots in back-to-back days, at two totally different beaches (hours apart), styled seven models on rotation, and somehow kept everything mostly organized.
All that to say, I couldn’t have done it without this friend crew (or the husband holding it down at home). 💕 They’re the ones who hauled bags up and down stairs, kept the hype up when the wind was killing our vibe, and made every model feel comfortable. I’m so grateful for each of their unique talents that brought my vision to life. ✨

day one - 5 local ladies
Our first stop was Pismo Beach. We met up with the photographer and the sweetest group of girlfriends to shoot on “the white wall.” It’s always a gamble meeting on location - someone may not show, or shows completely unprepared. But not this group! They were all on time, dialed in and full of energy.
For this shoot, I did something a little different and let them choose which pieces they thought paired best, keeping things a little more authentic. I think it worked well.
And to top it off, the spot couldn’t have been a better fit for all the blonde hair and golden light. The big white rocks added so much texture and dimension to the photos, while keeping that clean, airy backdrop I love. The perfect mix of white and gold. ✨

day two - sydney & maddie
Next, we landed in Malibu, where we met back up with our photographer for round two. I went into this shoot with a very specific vision in mind. I’d found Sydney and Maddie on Instagram, and the moment they walked up, I knew they were exactly what I needed. And they were absolute pros - easygoing, fun, and totally game for a little dress-up session in a makeshift dressing room.
You’ll see some shots of Sydney in black lace and embroidered cream beads - that was the look I’d been envisioning, and it ended up being one of my favorites.
Everyone of these ladies put in the work. Even though this was the coldest of the shoots and we were literally chasing the light until the last second, they kept it 100. Total dream team. ✨
